Marine scientists claim

that many marine species face threats

due to the oil spill occurred during 20th of April 2010.

According to the Marine scientists, chemicals dispersants on life underwater have been affected badly causing threats for many species such as sperm whales, turtles and blue fin tuna species.

Efforts are underway to protect birds, marine mammals

and fish reaching from oil in the Gulf of Mexico.

Engineers and government officials have taken steps

to recover and chemicals are being sprayed onto the slick
