ජපානයේ සුනාමි ව්‍යසනයට ලක්වු මියාගි ප‍්‍රාන්තයේ ඉෂිනොමකි ප‍්‍රදේශයේ මඩ සහ සුන්බුන් ඉවත් කිරීමේ කටයුතුවලට සහය දැක්වීම සඳහා ශ‍්‍රී ලංකාවෙන් පහළොස් දෙනෙකුගෙන් සමන්විත ස්වෙච්ඡ කණ්ඩායමක් අද (13 සිකුරාදා) ජපානය බලා ළඟා වු බව ජපානයේ ශ‍්‍රී ලංකා තානාපති කාර්යාලය පවසනවා.

රාජ්‍ය නොවන ස්වෙච්ඡුා සංවිධානයක් වන Peace Boat නැමති සංවිධානයේ සාමාජිකයන් සමඟ මෙම පිරිස කටයුතු කිරීමට සුදානම් බව වාර්තා වනවා.
