Sri Lanka’s Minor Tremor Posts No Danger – NBRO

NBRO stated that no danger from recent tremors in Sri Lanka. A minor earth tremor of Magnitude 3 on the Richter scale was reported also from the same area but no damages were reported. National Building Research Organization (NBRO) said its has not posted any danger to area.
“It is only a tremor, not an earthquake,” the NBRO said in statement. There has been no damage reported from the tremors, the NBRO said. The firsts tremor was experienced at around 12.11 PM on Friday (10), as per the Geological Survey & Mines Bureau (GSMB) and the NBRO.
