139,391 people have been affected
in eleven districts due to heavy rain across Sri Lanka.
North Central and Eastern province have been worst affected due to floods, Mean while landslides
have been reported in the central part of the country closing several highways in the country.
According to Reports 895 houses were fully damaged and 6,787 houses were partially damaged due to floods and heavy rain. 90% of the paddy cultivation have been destroyed so far.
