Forest Fire In Attalapitiya Forest

A Forest fire was erupted in Attalapitiya protected area in Bandarawela yesterday night.

According to reports more than 10 ha destroyed due to forest fire. Sri Lanka Air Force, Sri Lanka Army with the wild life department officials are working with villagers to stop the fire. Rescue operations still underway even with the presence of  strong winds in the area.
